Long time no blog.....

As seems to be my usual these days, it's been a while. Also, as per usual these days, we've been sick recently and are now back on the mend, again. Hopefully our 2 weeks off at Christmas time will give our immune systems time to recover and the New Year will be a bit healthier!!!

This is our second week of having Kevin back at home. He was working in another city for 6 months and was gone during the week and home only on weekends. What a tiring 6 months. I don't know how single parents do it and I had Kevin back home on weekends! I am not surprised that I have missed having Kevin around, I am, however, surprised by just how much I missed him taking out the garbage!!!! as well as the many other things he does around the house :-)

Kevin really enjoyed his temporary job but now is back to his regular job. While he is happy to be home, I think he is missing the challenge of his recent assignment so hopefully the experience will lead to something more challenging and exciting in the office here!

We had a busy weekend full of Christmasy stuff including a family dinner and Faith sitting on Santa's knee for the very first time at her Gran's work Christmas party. Here are a couple of photos....
